Holy Belonging: Our Unbroken Wholeness – Sister Carol Quinlivan, CSJ
July 19 @ 4:00 pm - July 26 @ 2:00 pm
Anam Cara, the Gaelic for “soul friend,” awakens in us our ancient kinship of belonging. To re-discover the transformative power of becoming an Anam Cara, Soul-Friend, to ourselves and to those we meet on the road of life simultaneously grounds and frees us. The late poet John O’Donohue, calls such a spiritual awakening “a homecoming” and a recovery of the Divine dream that lies at the hearth of the soul. This retreat explores the ancient wisdom, poetry, and blessings of Celtic Christian Spirituality which takes us beyond words to nourish our imagination and restore what we have
neglected or forgotten.
Sister Carol Quinlivan, Ph.D., a Sister of St. Joseph Carondelet, is a Spiritual and Retreat Director with extensive experience in group and individual spiritual formation and a facilitator for parish leadership and faculty development.
